On June 28 representatives from Brookings Health System and Team Isaac gathered to dedicate New Beginnings Birth Center’s nursery in honor of Isaac Scot Hemmestad, the son of Team Isaac founders Jason and Amber Hemmestad. The Isaac Scot Nursery recognizes the funds given to Brookings Health System Foundation by Team Isaac.

Safe@Home Course Prepares Kids to Stay Home Alone

Brookings Health System will offer Safe@Home by SafeSitter®, a program designed for students in grades 4 to 6 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone. The class will be held on Wednesday, June 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. inside the Ambulance Station and Education Center.

Pediatric Cardiology Services to Start at Brookings Health’s Outreach Clinic

Pediatric Cardiologist Dr. Eric Towe, M.D., of Avera Medical Group Pediatric Specialists, will begin seeing patients at Brookings Health System’s outreach clinic. He will be available to see patients the first Monday of every-other-month starting June 6.
