Book Signing with Dr. Rick Holm
Dr. Rick Holm, M.D., will sign his new book, “Life’s Final Season: A Guide for Aging and Dying with Grace,” as a part of the holiday open house at Brookings Health System's gift shop.
Holm began his medical practice in Brookings in 1981 and has volunteered as the medical director for Brookings Health System’s Hospice program since it started in 1995. Well into the process of writing his book, Holm at age 67 was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His book tells of surviving his initial battle with the aid of chemotherapy and surgery.
Copies of Dr. Holm's book will be available for sale during the signing.
