Our Brookings OB unit helps parents-to-be from across our community in this life-changing moment. Our obstetrics team’s care philosophy includes letting parents choose the birth experience they want, embracing the female body’s natural ability to give birth, and supporting mothers and babies in all aspects of breastfeeding.

Diaper Drive to Help Area Families Who Face Diaper Need

New Beginnings Birth Center will hold a diaper drive during National Diaper Need Awareness Week, Sept. 23 – 29. The donated diapers and wipes will be given to the Harvest Table and the Brookings Area United Way to help area families who face diaper need.

Brookings Health System is now the 46th breastmilk collection depot for the Mother’s Milk Bank of Iowa collection program. The health system is just the fourth collection site in South Dakota.
