Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a 20 minute, safe treatment that can improve the skin’s appearance. Chemical peels can be used for:

  • Reducing fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth
  • Treating wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging
  • Improve the appearance of mild scars
  • Treat certain types of acne
  • Reduce age spots, freckles and dark patches
  • Improve the look and feel of skin

We have three levels of medical grade chemical peels to meet patients’ unique needs: Illuminize, Vitalize and Rejuvenize.

The Illuminize peel delivers an immediate glow to the skin and brightens the skin’s overall appearance after just one treatment. It helps restore a more youthful appearance and improves clarity, color and skin texture.

It is a mild peel that exfoliates dead skin cells in a similar manner as microdermabrasion but without the abrasiveness or spread of bacteria across the skin. The result is a quick glow without any peeling or downtime.

This peel is appropriate for first time chemical peels or individuals who want something more invasive than a facial but cannot have the downtime of peeling.

The Vitalize peel smooths the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and roughness. It exfoliates dead skin resulting in less acne, less acne scarring, less brown spots and less sun damage.

It dramatically improves texture and tone and gives skin a healthier and more youthful appearance. After this peel is applied, the skin starts to shed two days from the chin up to the forehead for approximately 2 to 3 days.

There are noticeable results after just one peel. However, for best results, a series of 3 to 6 treatments is recommended.Rejuvenize-Peel-carton-closed-with-bottles.png

Rejuvenize

The Rejuvenize peel is the strongest of the three peels and is ideal for those who have become tolerant to other medical grade peels and see less shedding of dead skin.

It, too, smooths the appearance of fine line, wrinkles and roughness. It may result is some mild redness and an increase of skin peeling two days after this peel is applied. Shedding duration usually lasts about 3-4 days.
