Terri Mohror Hired as New Director of Nursing for Brookview Manor
Brookings Health System announces Terri Mohror has been hired as the new director of nursing for Brookview Manor.
Mohror, a South Dakota native, has seven years of director or nursing experience at various facilities around South Dakota, including Mid-Dakota Hospital, Chamberlain; Winner Regional Healthcare Center; Good Samaritan Center, Canton; and Bennett County Nursing Home, Martin.
"I love working with people, and I like building teams that work together," says Mohror. "But I love working with the residents most. You feel good every day that you go home, knowing you have done something good, even if in a small way. Just one of their smiles or hugs will do that for you, and you can't find that anywhere else."
Mohror also has experience working in many different areas of nursing, including medical-surgical floors, ICU, ER and long-term care. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from South Dakota State University.
Mohror's husband, Brad, is a native of the Brookings-Volga area, and the couple is excited to move back to the original homestead outside of Brookings. They have two daughters, Kelsey and Kristen, and one grandson, Easton.
Brookview Manor is a 79-bed, non-profit skilled nursing facility that offers short and long-term care for residents. For more information, please call 605-696-7710 or 866-945-2146.
